Many protestants got out on streets of New York last month, December 28th, to ask the end of attacks in Gaza. At least, the incident killed 300 people. There are also other 1400 people who were hurt by the bombs. It was the worst attack of Israel against Palestine in 40 years. Ativists and manifestants occupied part of the 5th Avenue, one of the main streets in New York. The police separeted part of that street, and the traffic was low on the avenue. According to the leaders of the moviment, the goal of the “Funeral Procession” was to honor the victims of attacks on Gaza.
We are here to show anger. So this shout: free, free, Palestine! Laughter, laughter. Free, free, Palestine! [echo: free, free, Palestina]. And the occupation no! [And the occupation no].
Texto also avaiable in Portuguese, and Spanish
